Aloha, E Komo Mai!

Founded in 2012 by Sarah Jones, Mermaids on Maui was created with simple goals in mind - to Inspire, to Educate, and to Ignite local keiki who just wanted to explore and enjoy the ocean as Mermaids!  We quickly realized though, that there were more keiki (and adults) who wanted to be Mermaids (and Mermen) than we thought!  It wasn’t long before a couple photo appearances a month, blossomed into several events per week - including themed birthday parties, professional photoshoots, and eventually a formal Mermaid school at a world class resort!

We do pride ourselves on staying true to our Haiku roots though, by not only embracing and sharing the spirit of kuleana in our resort curriculums, but also by heavily supporting our local keiki programs, and Maui community events!

Mermaids on Maui has grown quite a bit since we first launched it seven years ago, and we are are very proud of the reputation we’ve built with our resort partners, and within our community.  For a simple Maui girl who just wanted to be a Mermaid, our little company has certainly led us in exciting new directions, and on inspiring new adventures - but that’s what being a Mermaid is all about!

Our programs have been crafted with the same love, care, and hard work that our reputation has been built upon. We have helped hundreds of children learn to be ‘comfortable in their own tail’, and have opened up a whole new world of exciting underwater adventures for them!  Our pool classes, birthday parties, and photo shoots are filled with fun, laughter, and a whole lot of ALOHA, and we would love to share some of these adventures with you during your stay on Maui!

So whatever your heart desires, and whatever your imagination can create, we are here to make YOUR mermaid dream become a reality!
